DESCRIPTION
Tatami regularly works with the premier BJJ artist, Seymour Yang aka Meerkatsu, to create original pieces of artwork that are featured in their kimonos, apparel, and nogi compression gear. But we're not talking about a simple copy/paste of some drawing that's been slapped on the middle of a rashguard. Meerkatsu collaborations involve very thorough work that takes into consideration the form fit and panel construction of the particular garment. For example, here Meerkatsu uses each and every panel of the rashguard as its own unique canvas, yet ties them all together beautifully. The updated Dragon Fly (version 2) sees Meerkatsu's original designs fully sublimated throughout the front and back panels, matched up perfectly across the flatlock seams. The fabric is a soft and stretchy polyester blend, used by Tatami in conjunction with their form-fitting panel assembly in order to get you a compression fit that is comfortable but not restricting. All logos and artwork details, even background colors and solid panels, are fully sublimated into the fabric, using Tatami's outstanding sublimation process. Put together with flatlock stitching and strong folded over sleeve cuffs. Equipped with a generous torso length to prevent riding up while you roll.
